Marty has been an entrepreneur since he was 21 years old. He has owned and operated 13 companies in 6 industries, including a firm that delivered $960,000 in annual profit on $12 Million dollars in revenue with just 86 employees. His first company was a technology startup, after which he ventured into audio production, retail, restaurants and hospitality and, most recently, advertising and marketing. He exited one of his businesses for $1.2 Million.

Marty is the founder of Evolve Business Group, Inc. where he serves as president and senior advisor. He has leveraged his 25 years of experience in strategic management, leadership, marketing and sales, operations, and finance to coach more than 500 business owners running companies as large as $38 Million in annual revenue. Marty helped one of his clients grow revenue from $186,000 to $3.6 Million in just 2.5 years.

He has received numerous recognitions for his work as a business coach, including North America Business Coach of the Year, Global Contributor to the Coaching Profession, and CYBF Canadian Mentor of the Year. Marty graduated from the Leadership Calgary certificate program and was selected as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40. He was selected as one of 18 entrepreneurs to represent Canada at the G20 Entrepreneur Summits in France, Mexico City and Russia.

He served as CEO of a $15 Million publicly traded advertising company with offices in Calgary and San Antonio, Texas. During his tenure he privatized and re-branded the company and then exited the business by selling it to a competitor.
